Introductions • We are the New Zealand Chapter Leaders – Adrian Hayes (Wellington) retiring – Kirk Jackson (Wellington) stepping up – Denis Andzakovic (Auckland) – Kim Carter (Christchurch) • Together with the University we have put together this event – the seventh of its kind! • ~600 registrations this year
4. OWASP? • What is OWASP? – International not-for-profit organisation – Many projects to raise awareness and promote the development of secure web applications – Projects to help devs, testers, managers – Plenty of open source resources and tools – Founded in 2001
