My Journey to PostgreSQL & the PGCA Board of Directors | Claire Giordano | PGConf EU 2024

Slides from a lightning talk at PGConf EU 2024 in Athens Greece, all about my journey to working in the Postgres community and to joining the PGCA Board of Directors. This short 5-minute talk is a visual exploration of what the PGCA is and why it matters. TL;dr, PGCA stands for "Postgres Community Association" and the PGCA is one of the recognized Postgres non-profit organizations—whose mission is to protect the Postgres trademark and brand assets. The talk also explores my personal journey and how I ended up working on PostgreSQL! QR codes are included to make it easy to donate to the PGCA non-profit.
