3. Deckhands support safe manoeuvring out of port and the journey offshore. Slip lines and assist with departure Conduct lookout and watchkeeping duties Communicate effectively with the Master 2 DEPARTURE AND TRANSIT
4. On arrival at the windfarm, deckhands manage transfers and equipment. 3 OFFSHORE OPERATIONS Prepare the bow, transfer systems and equipment for safe access Assist technicians during turbine transfers Support cargo and crane operations
5. While technicians work offshore, deckhands maintain vessel readiness. Keep decks clean, organised and hazard-free Perfom safety drills man overboard fire abandon ship Carry out routine maintenance tasks 4 BETWEEN TRANSFERS
6. Deckhands assist technicians returning from turbines and prepare for transit back to port. 5 END OF DAY PICK-UP Support safe ladder transfers with stepback countdowns and equipent loading Account for all passengers and gear Prepare decks for return transit
7. After arriving back in port, deckhands secure and shut down the vessel. Assist with mooring and disembarkation Offload equipment and tidy the vessel Complete end-of-day shutdown checks and leave the vessel safe and secure 6 RETURN TO PORT AND SHUTDOWN
