The Journey to Localize AWS BuilderCards in Japan - #AWSCDTW #BuilderCards #jawsugchiba

AWS BuilderCards is a card game designed to teach architectural best practices by combining AWS services. The original English version debuted at AWS re:Invent, and the Japanese version was distributed at JAWS DAYS in March this year. In this session, we will share the motivations and stories of the development team behind the Japanese version of AWS BuilderCards, detailing the journey from inception to completion.

This presentation will cover:

- The reasons behind the implementation of the Japanese version of AWS BuilderCards.
- The process of localizing AWS BuilderCards from English to Japanese, tailored specifically for the AWS community in Japan, beyond mere translation.
- Strategies we used to enhance participants' experiences through the card game, enabling them to gain a deeper understanding of AWS services and the Well-Architected Framework.
