The weight of the brake assembly is approximately 86 kg (190 lb).

13. 1. Install springs (26) into housing (13) . 2. Install O-ring seals (27) and (28) . Illustration 2 g00952538 3. Position piston (25) into housing (13) . Illustration 3 g00952535 4. Install seals (23) and (24) on manifold assembly (22). Put clean oil on the lip of the seals.
14. Illustration 4 g00952533 5. Align the oil holes in manifold assembly (22) with the holes in housing (13). Install manifold assembly (22) and bolts (19) . Illustration 5 g00952514 6. Raise the temperature of bearing (16) and install bearing (16) onto hub assembly (7). Bearing (16) must be seated squarely on the hub assembly after bearing (16) has cooled. 7. Install rings (15) onto hub assembly (7) .

Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates. 1. Drain the oil from the final drive into a suitable container for storage or disposal. Refer to Operation and Maintenance, "Final Drive Oil - Change". Illustration 1 g00978910 2. Remove bolts (1). Block sprocket segment (2) with suitable cribbing. Illustration 2 g00978911 3. Install Tooling (A). Remove bolts (3). Slide final drive planetary carrier (4) to the end of Tooling (A).

Remove the nuts from Tooling (A) and remove final drive planetary carrier (4). The weight of final drive planetary carrier (4) is approximately 100 kg (220 lb).
