HOW TO USE F.LUX

Step by step tutorial on how to use F.lux.

2. In your browser type: http://justgetflux.com
3. Click Download f.lux
4. Click Save File
5. Click the downloaded file
6. Click Run
7. Click “I Agree”
8. Congratulations! f.lux has been successfully installed in your PC!
9. NOTE: f.lux does not appear in your dock, settings, or your alt-tab menu. Currently settings are only accessible through the taskbar.
10. In Windows, it is at the bottom right corner of your screen.
11. To access the settings, right click the f.lux icon on the task bar
12. You can click change location and enter the zip code or your latitude and longitude
13. Or you can click “Locate”
14. A window will open
15. Enter “location” then click Go!
16. Copy the given set of numbers
17. Paste to f.lux
18. Click OK
19. Click change lighting settings to change it
20. Move the dot icons according to preference
21. Click Done
22. Click the blue dot to preview your settings
23. When working with color sensitive work like Photoshop, click the box below
24. Or click “Disable for an hour”
