I dropped out of school at 18 starting my working life in sales, then Technical Support. I caught the tech bug and completed a four year stint as a UNIX system administrator. Parallel to the day job I built one of BT’s first Intranet sites in 1994. I was part of the launch team for BT’s first small business ISP BT Connect moving on to head up the product management of BT’s web hosting portfolio. I closed off the 90’s by launching “Photoplanet” the worlds first connected digital photo booth in 1999. A new millennium brought fresh challenges, moving into mobile to start a 12 year stretch with O2 / Telefonica. Highlights include product launching MMS for O2 in 2002, running the UKs DVB-H Mobile TV Trial in 2005, launching the award winning O2 Arena interactive services in 2007, co creating BlueVia in 2009, and running the Power Of One conference in 2011. 3rd person speaker bio
