1. Technologies Made by Kris Kirova
2. We used a variety of technologies to make our film opening. I learned that in order to create a film you need to consider the concept of the movie and how your going to be able to produce it. You have to also consider: sound, editing, camera and Ident.

4. Transitional Page Before filming a movie, every producer such as myself has to do research and gather ideas about how they want to develop their film. During our research I used technologies such as the Internet (Wikipedia and Google). Using the internet to access these websites, I was able to establish my target audience which helped with creating my film. I was able to look at what teenagers found interesting. Also, I used this particular technology to research teen sub-genres and learn more about the teen movies and how to reach out to that certain audience. The next technology which I found myself using was YouTube. I used YouTube to look at different film openings which helped me establish what type of sub-genre I wanted my opening to be about. YouTube also enabled me to embed videos onto my blog and talk about the research which I found. It was great use of technology because, it helped me show examples of my work and projects which I wanted to use an example for my own work.
5. Planning THE DEMON INSIDE The next stage after research is planning. In order to make a plan I used a variety of technologies to do that. The two main technologies which I used were: ü  Time Toast ü  Digital Storyboard
6. Time Toast Using Time Toast was really easy because, the website was really easy to access and everything was organised and I was able to use the guide and create a time schedule. Using Time Toast definitely had an impact on our final product because, we were able to use the guide and stay on schedule. Having everything prepared and organised helped us in more ways than we could explain. It made us as a group more organised and everything went perfectly. This tech as helped me improved as a media producer by teaching me that everything should be planned and organised if you want to have a very good film opening.
7. Digital Storyboard Using a digital story board was very useful for our planning. We took pictures of our paper storyboard and uploaded it on www.slid.es because, we were able to embed and paste the presentation on to our blog to show evidence of planning. By creating a digital storyboard we were able to share it on multiple websites and also embed and paste it on to any media we wanted.

9. Filming During the filming process we used a JVC HD Camera. This camera enabled us to have 1080p high quality film footage. At the beginning, It wasn’t as straight forward to use however, we had a tutorial and all of the safety precautions so after using it once or twice we got the hang of it and were able to shoot professionally. Unlike any other technology, this had the greatest effect on our final film opening. We had to use the auto settings to have a very urban yet horror based film and this camera definitely did the trick. Another form of technology which I used in filming is my iPhone 5. I used to to interview people, film vlogs and upload pictures to our blog. It was very useful because, we didn’t have to ask for a flip camera all of the time and it was our own equipment.
10. Editing We used Final Cut Pro to edit our film opening. It wasn’t difficult to use this editing software because, I was already familiar with all of the tools. This had the greatest impact on our film opening because, we had to make sure to match everything and crop our footage to perfection. It was a difficult task but using FCP definitely made the task easier with how straight forward it was to use. This software has helped me develop as a producer by teaching me a variety of techniques I can use in future editing. It is a great piece of technology and it was very beneficial to our film opening. Camtasia was a very fun and straight forward editing software I used when creating short clips and screen grabs of idents and any film I wanted to use in my production. Camtasia was easy to use because, it had basic settings and I was able to past and remove videos which I didn’t want anymore. It was great because, I uploaded my clips on to vimeo and then I was able to move them onto prezi or slideshare. Also I could embed the clip on to our blog which helped with the production and planning.
11. Overall Overall, what I learnt was that there are a number of different technologies which I was able to use in creating my final film opening. From researching sound on Creative Commons to uploading videos on Vimeo. Every piece of technology was useful, and it helped expand my creativity and make my presentations a little more interesting and fun to the audience. I’ve learnt that a handful of technologies is used to create and promote a film opening.
