Last  week,  I  was  wondering  why  Android  leE  out  alphabets  A  &  B  from  their   codenames.       Well,  I  received  some  interes.ng  responses  from  Cogzians  &  here  are  the  top  3!!       Thanks  Guys!  Keep  rocking  &  keep  these  interes.ng  .dbits  coming  in!!   The  two  original  pre-­‐released  Android  versions  were   internally  called  as  ‘Astro’  &  ‘Bender’.     However  these  names  weren’t  actually  used   because  the  names  were  already  trademarked.   -­‐Bala,  VP  Sales,  Cogzidel  Technologies     I  think  A  symbolize  Android    &  B  symbolize  Bugdroid   (which  is  the  name  of  the  Android  Mascot!)   &  hence  Android  version  names  are  starWng  from  C   J   -­‐  Kanmani,  Test  Engineer,  Cogzidel  Technologies   In  my  point  of  view  ,  only    'B’  was  le?  out  because   Android  is  starWng  with  leZer  'A’!!   -­‐Pandurengan,  Team  Lead  &  SVN  Inspector
