    Tech Media Tech Media is a media outlet within the LY Corporation Technical Portal, our official tech intranet that consolidates essential information for LY Corporation engineers. Available information include company-wide technical strategies, tech exchanges both within/outside the company and across divisions, as well as interview articles with engineers across the LY Corporation Group (hereinafter the “Group”). Knowledge Sharing New technologies adopted with high priority by LY Corporation are listed and visualized. For example, we have launched an information-sharing portal on generative AI. Additionally, we provide an environment that encourages mutual information sharing among employees, featuring pages like "myTips," where employees can easily post their knowledge.     03 Information Sharing Tech Blog shares technical case studies, knowledge, and the Group’s development culture that underpin the services of LY Corporation and Group companies.     to the Industry Tech-Verse This tech conference showcases the appeal of LY Corporation’s Product Group for engineers, designers, and project managers. At Tech-Verse 2025, we have hosted tracks across 12 different topics over two days, sharing past challenges and experiences. Participants also had the opportunity to directly interact with developers. Tech Week is a special annual event where LY Corporation's engineers, designers, project managers, and employees involved in product development gather from various countries and regions. Throughout the week, participants share past challenges and experiences and engage in hackathons. Hack Day At this event, participants develop their projects freely over a total of 24 hours (12 hours per day × two days) and make a 90-second pitch. Afterwards, they can get to experience each team's work at an exhibition. Global mixed teams also participate, making it a perfect opportunity to unleash creativity, strengthen bonds with team members, and enjoy meeting new colleagues.

    14 04 Events and Contributions to the Industry We regularly hold internal study sessions for LY Corporation engineers at offices across Japan. These sessions serve as opportunities for interaction across different departments and teams. Tech All-Hands Meeting This is a meeting where the CTO and technical executives share technology strategies with all engineers within the company. Information on development policies, organizational structures, and project progress are also shared, aiming to ensure that internal engineers can work efficiently and decisively. Extensive information is available , and we have a culture that actively promotes mutual information sharing.

    and Contributions to the Industry In addition to sharing LY Corporation's technology with external audiences, we also engage in initiatives to invigorate the industry. Hack U External Study Sessions As a development support activity for students, we collaborate with educational institutions to organize hackathons and workshops. We regularly hold external study sessions for engineers at our offices across Japan. Not only do these sessions help spread information on technology, they also contribute to increasing motivation and enhancing the value of our company's engineers.

At sessions and booths, we engage in communication with attendees by introducing LY Corporation's technology and development. In addition to contributing to pull requests for open -source projects, we actively release and maintain our own open -source assets, provide financial support to open -source initiatives, and submit RFCs.     Programs image Doctoral Studies Support Program This is a system designed to support employees who aim to obtain a doctoral degree while working. At LY Corporation, you can experience practical research and theoretical academic studies related to big data, which is one of the company's strengths. Note: Only permanent employees with at least two years of service are eligible. Those who qualify through the selection process receive a scholarship for their science doctoral studies (up to 1 million yen/six months) and one day of special paid leave per week. Support for Participation in Conferences Requiring Travel If you wish to attend a tech conference that involves travel, your organization may, at its discretion, allow attendance during working hours and cover the participation costs. Note: The decision to provide support is made on a case- by-case basis, taking into account various factors such as the budget set by each organization, the content of the conference, and participant information. Please note that participation is not guaranteed.     Portal Tech E-learning Tech Language Support This is a portal page that aggregates learning content for engineers. High - quality educational materials created by internal specialized teams and professional staff can be utilized at any time when needed. Examples of educational materials: • LY Corporation’s development rules/processes to be learned upon joining the company • Tutorials for internal platforms • Development insights (tuning, anti - patterns, etc.) • General development knowledge We offer Udemy Business , which allows access to highly -rated courses on Udemy, and O'Reilly Online Learnin g , which provides access to technical books published by O ’ Reilly and others, as well as videos and event participation. Recommended content, which are curated by professional talent from among numerous resources, are also available. Learning is encouraged during work hours, creating an environment where employees can easily receive support from those around them. We provide a specialized language support program for engineers to create an environment where engineers with diverse backgrounds can thrive. We offer multiple programs in both English and Japanese, allowing you to select one that best matches your language level and needs.
