  1. Brain  Brain is like a central computer for nervous

system. It receives messages from different parts of the body and then tells the body, how to react
  2. Cerebrum  The biggest part of the brain is the

cerebrum. It is responsible for intelligence, memory, personality, emotion, speech and ability to feel and move
  3. Cerebellum  The smaller part is the cerebellum, controlling balance,

movement and coordination. It is responsible for taking in, sending out messages And also it controls breathing, heart rate and digestion
  4. Thalamus and hypothalamus  The thalamus carries messages from the

sensory organs, like eyes, ears, nose and fingers to the cerebrum. And hypothalamus controls body temperature and appetite.
  5. Tiny pituitary gland  The tiny pituitary gland produces and

releases hormones to control growth, metabolism and many other things.
  6. Neurons  This nerve cells are like long thin threads

with fingers, called dendrites, at each end. When a neuron is stimulated, by heat, touch or sound it actually generates a tiny electrical signal. This signal passes from one neuron to another until the message reaches the brain
