  1. About MeetsMore & ProOne 80 ENGINEERING TEAM Today, our engineering

team is about 80 people, working across both products. MeetsMore — Japan's leading matching platform connecting customers with local professionals, across 300 categories (from home repair to legal services). MEETSMORE & PROONE ProOne — our all-in-one SaaS product for the field-service industry (construction, facilities, renovation, maintenance), covering everything from quotes and orders through invoicing and business management.
  2. Company Wide Engineering Principles MEETSMORE & PROONE 1 TypeScript everywhere

    — frontend, backend, and even infrastructure-as-code CDK for Terraform). 2 AWS-based cloud infrastructure, with Kubernetes EKS) used for parts of the platform. 3 Datadog for monitoring/observability and Sentry for error tracking, across both products. 4 Strong, active adoption of AI coding tools — engineers get unlimited access to tools like Claude Code, governed by an internal AI task force.
  3. MeetsMore Tech Stack MEETSMORE & PROONE A TypeScript monorepo Bun

workspaces + Turborepo) spanning around 14 services, a set of shared libraries, and the original legacy monolith, all still evolving together. Backend NestJS is the standard across most services, with a couple of newer, lighter services built on Hono, and Zod used for validation. Data MongoDB is the primary database (with an in-flight migration to Prisma), plus PostgreSQL for a couple of newer services, alongside Redis, Elasticsearch, and RabbitMQ. Frontend The core product UI is React + Vite with Redux Toolkit and MUI; marketing sites run on Next.js and Astro with Tailwind. Infra & tooling AWS-based deployment ECS/ECR) with GitHub Actions CI, Datadog/Sentry/SonarQube for observability, and a modern Rust-based lint/test toolchain (including AI-assisted end-to-end test healing). Integrations A wide range of third-party services (payments, messaging, maps, CRM) plus several libraries tailored to the Japanese market.
  4. ProOne Tech Stack MEETSMORE & PROONE A newer-generation TypeScript monorepo

(pnpm workspaces + Turborepo) with a single focused product surface — server, web, admin, and AI apps — built on Postgres rather than Mongo. Backend NestJS with a heavier architectural layer (structured command/event handling, background job queues, real-time features), a functional-programming house style, and a built-in AI/MCP integration. Data PostgreSQL via Prisma (with an added typed-SQL layer), plus OpenSearch, Redis, ClickHouse, and BigQuery for search, caching, and analytics. Frontend Next.js + React with a mix of modern state-management tools, rich editing/visualization components, and built-in chat for messaging. Other surfaces — a dedicated admin tool, an in-house AI app, a React Native mobile app, and serverless functions for background jobs. Infra & tooling — AWS-based deployment with GitHub Actions (including on-demand preview environments), feature flags via LaunchDarkly, and rich observability/tracing tooling; testing and repo tooling lean heavily on AI assistance (including deep Notion integration for pulling project/task context). ProOne is genuinely multi-tenant: every customer configures their own terminology, custom fields, document types, and feature flags, so "it works on my tenant" isn't the same as "it works."
  5. What We Expect From Engineers MEETSMORE & PROONE Ownership &

Self-Sufficiency Self-Management dig in and explore on your own first, then bring what you've found when looping others in; run with a solution once you're confident in it; help teammates whenever the chance comes up. plan your own work and communicate openly about progress and blockers. Staying Current With Technology Continuous Learning stay curious about where the industry (and AI) is heading, and use it to boost day-to-day efficiency. treat learning as an ongoing habit, both inside and outside your product area.
  6. Location & Language MEETSMORE & PROONE Location we expect engineers

to live in the greater Tokyo area, or be willing to relocate there before starting full-time employment. Language for new hires, we're moving toward requiring English ability across all engineering roles. Japanese ability is a strong plus, since some teams and cross-functional work happen in Japanese.
  7. Visa & Relocation Support MEETSMORE & PROONE Employment Terms Engineering

roles are full-time employee (正社員) positions, with a few exceptions. Visa Sponsorship We regularly sponsor visas for engineers relocating to Japan — most qualify for the Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/International Services Visa (技術・人文知識・ 国际业务ビザ); we can also support the Highly Skilled Professional Visa (高度専門職ビザ) for eligible candidates. End-to-End Assistance Our HR team walks you through the process from offer through relocation. Two paths to 正社員 status for candidates relocating from overseas, depending on the situation and candidate fit: 1. Start on a contract basis while your visa is being processed, so you can begin working with us sooner. 2. Have your visa fully processed first, then start as a full-time employee once you've relocated to Japan — this can take longer depending on immigration processing and relocation timing.
