2. Our purpose • Digital Health PORTUGAL is born out of the need to lobby for the Portuguese healthcare technology offer and the creation of international demand for our products and services.

We are a civic platform (a concept that is halfway between a simple network and a community) created to boost a vibrant Digital Health ecosystem in Portugal, boosting the efficiency and effectiveness of disease prevention and, consequently, the growth of Portuguese companies in a market that is increasingly global.

5. Our international goals Share international best practices with the various stakeholders and provide information on European health policy and general guidelines. Put Portuguese companies on the radar of possible investors and make them ready for scaling up.

A triple-win proposal We support any Portuguese company along their innovation processes, finding unmet needs, user specifications and funders to get their product closer to market with a superior value proposition. We promote the deployment of Digital Health solutions by showcasing our members on an international scene, through a proven set of targeted events and workshops and at international events. Through our Catalysers and Orchestrater partners we have access to a global Digital Health Ecosystem Network, that can help identify best business alliances; potential companies to commercialize as well as scale-up solutions.

Digital Health Portugal Backstage Created in November 2003, the Hospital do Futuro Forum is a private and non- profit initiative, co-founded by Paulo Nunes de Abreu and that promotes reflection and strategic dialogue in the health sector, involving as partners the main sector associations, entities Ministry of Health. COMMUNICATION PLATFORM Through its communication channels, HdF reaches an audience of about 13,000 leaders and health professionals involved in innovation: • 1,345 members subscribed to the HdF website. • + 4,000 subscribers to e-Newsletter sent monthly. • + 16,000 followers on our Facebook and LinkedIn page.
