2. ACT 1 INT. Charlie's Room, Early Morning SCENE 1: Phone alarm ringing labeled with "GISING NA". Vibrating on top of the bedside table. SCENE 2: Camera pans to the right, showing our main protagonist sleeping soundly. SCENE 3: Charlie waking up from her sleep, annoyed by the alarm as she picks it up. SCENE 4: Cuts to a first person perspective of Charlie checking her phone notifications as she turn off her alarm. She quickly checks her message notifications and gets a text from her boss. Camera zooms in, focusing on her boss's message telling her the deadline is near. SCENE 5: Frozen for a moment, Charlie panics as she gets out of bed frantically as the title shows up, Retrace. INT. Charlie's Room (Various) SEQ 1 (Morning routine sequence) SEQ1 SCENE 6: Charlie brushing her teeth in a hurry, her hair laying down all. SEQ1 SCENE 7: Charlie tying her hair up into a ponytail as she briefly looks at the mirror and then walks away. SEQ1 SCENE 8: Low bust shot of Charlie making coffee in the kitchen. SEQ1 SCENE 9: Camera pan to the left, establishing shot of Charlie's workplace as Charlie walks up to her desk. End of SEQ 1 INT. Charlie's work desk, Early morning to Night SEQ 2 (Storyboard hustle sequence) SEQ2 SCENE 10: Charlie sits down, coffee in hand as she take a sip and puts her mug down, grabbing her pencil and stretching as she gets ready to draw. SEQ2 SCENE 11: She leans into the desk as she focuses on drawing, the room lit up as it's the early morning. 2.
3. SEQ2 SCENE 12: Closeup shot of Charlie's first sketch..only to be scribbled at due to her dissatisfaction. SEQ2 SCENE 13: She continues to draw even late at night, her desk and sketchbook illuminated by a desk lamp. Crumpled papers piling up. SEQ2 SCENE 14: Charlie erases the drawing as she feels like something is wrong with the sketch. SEQ2 SCENE 15: Back to early morning as the sunshine illuminates Charlies room, filled with scratch and discarded crumpled papers, Charlie still drawing. SEQ2 SCENE 16: Closeup shot of her drawing as she briefly stops. SEQ2 SCENE 17: She briefly pauses, putting her pencil down. SEQ2 SCENE 18: Closeup shot of her drawing as she rips the half of it out of sheer frustration. SEQ2 SCENE 19: Filled with fatigue and frustration,she slumps on her desk, defeated and tired. SEQ2 SCENE 20: Medium closeup shot of Charlie, her head resting on her hand as she deeply sighs and gets even more frustrated. SEQ2 SCENE 21: Quickly Charlie snaps, hands on her head. SEQ2 SCENE 22: Zoom out, High angle shot of Charlie being fed up as she stretches her face. End of SEQ 2 SCENE 23: Charlie hits her shin on one of her desk's leg. SCENE 24: Close up shot of Charlie's reaction to said pain. SCENE 25: Charlie sitting down, wincing in pain as she is on the floor; shortly noticing something. SCENE 26: Close up shot of a sketchbook under desk. SCENE 27: Close up shot of Charlie wondering what's under the desk. END OF ACT 1 ACT 2 INT./EXT. Forest of WIPS and Sketches SCENE 41: Black screen transitioning to Charlie blinking and opening her eyes in first person perspective, Scrimblo appears. SCENE 42: Wide shot of the setting as Charlie is laying down, looking around as Scrimblo is looking at her. SCENE 43: Medium close up shot of Charlie anxiously looking around. SCENE 44: Camera pans from up, right then down and shows Scrimblo, giving Charlie a big pencil. 4.
5. SCENE 45: Medium close up shot of Charlie, who's laying down; reaches out for the pencil. SCENE 46: Close up shot of Charlie grabbing the pencil from Scrimblo's hands. SCENE 47: Charlie gets up as Scrimblo guides her around the forest as they walk off. SCENE 48: Wide shot of Scrimblo showing the drawings in the shrubs. SCENE 49: Medium shot of a confused Charlie raising her thumb up, not knowing what's going on. SCENE 50: Scrimblo shows more drawings in the trees to Charlie, popping up in three different places. SCENE 51: Medium shot of Charlie smiling then shortly Scrimblo grabs her hand as they go around the forest. SCENE 52: Extreme Wide shot. As the two ventures to the forest, Charlie stops midway looking at something. EXT. BURNOUT DESERT SCENE 53: Camera pans to the right, shows the Burnout Desert. SCENE 54: The two walks to the desert, exiting the forest. SCENE 55: Medium wide shot of the duo as they walk into the desert, looking around the place. SCENE 56: Camera pans to the right, scraps scattered around the desert. SCENE 57: Same as scene 55, looking at the opposite direction. SCENE 58: Camera pans to the right, showing different scraps scattered around the desert. SCENE 59: Charlie walks around the desert but bumps into something. SCENE 60: Camera zooms out, extreme wide shot, a humongous Artblock appears as it towers over our duo. END OF ACT 2 5.
6. ACT 3 EXT. Burnout Desert Cont. SCENE 61: Medium wide shot of the duo, looking up terrified of the sudden monster, Charlie holding the pencil closer as Scrimblo hides behind her. SCENE 62: Close up shot of Charlie as she looks troubled SCENE 63: Close up shot of a worried Scrimblo, looking back to Charlie. SCENE 64: Close up shot of Charlie as she looks down, as if she begins to reminisce SCENE 65: Young Charlie drawing Scrimblo flashback, hugging the drawing she made happily. SCENE 66: Close up shot of Charlie looking back up, scared yet determined. SCENE 67: Close up shot of Charlie’s grip on the pencil tightens. SEQ 3 (Creativity Vs. Artblock) SEQ3 SCENE 68: Artblock attacks as it's tendrils shoots out towards the two. SEQ3 SCENE 69: Charlie gets hit by the Artblock's attack as Scrimblo looks at it bravely, with a tinge of anger. SEQ3 SCENE 70: Camera pans up in first person perspective, shows the pencil on the ground as Artblock attacks again SEQ3 SCENE 71: Scrimblo run towards the pencil and grabs it. SEQ3 SCENE 72: High angle shot. Scrimblo turns around, pencil in hand as she look towards Charlie. SEQ3 SCENE 73: High angle shot. Charlie struggles as she is binded by Artblock's tendrils, opening one eye to peek at what happened to Scrimblo. SEQ3 SCENE 74: Charlie and Scrimblo nods to each other as Scrimblo throws the pencil to Charlie’s hand. SEQ3 SCENE 75: Charlie aims at the Artblock. SEQ3 SCENE 76: Closeup shot of Charlie aiming and throwing the pencil with all her might, like a spear. 6.
7. SEQ3 SCENE 77: Camera zooms in at Artblock, with a scared and confused expression. SCENE 78: Very wide shot of Artblock getting hit by the pencil as it shatters, impact frame. SCENE 79: Medium wide shot of Charlie and Scrimblo coverING their eyes as shards fall from the sky. End of SEQ 3 SCENE 80: Wideshot of Burned out Charlie, tucked in and depressed. SCENE 81: Medium shot of the duo looking surprised at the other Charlie's presence. SCENE 82: Medium shot of the duo approaches Burned out Charlie.
