This presentation maps developments in user experience design against evolutions throughout art history - by expanding on the well-trodden parallels of skeuomorphism/classical and flat/modernism, it is possible to predict a bold design future for Android as a true blank canvas for design innovation.

Liam Oscar Thurston is a graphic designer and illustrator focused on bringing branded experiences to life in an interactive context. A graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design's Communication and Design program, Liam has applied unique visual design thinking to a vast range of solutions aimed at improving the human experience.
