  2. What is SEO: • Provides techniques which improve the visibility

    of a website in search engine result pages (SERP). • Goal is to rank a website as highly as possible for a certain search query. • Increase your organic traffic. • Higher Ranking = Higher Click Through Rate (CTR).
  3. How Search engine works ? • Discovery: The crawler finds

    your website, either via a link from another website or via webmaster’s add url tool. • Indexing: The web pages are processed and indexed. Note that not all content can be indexed (e.g. rich media like javascript, flash, videos, dynamic pages etc). • Results: When you enter a query, search engines analyze their index and show you the most relevant web pages.

    than 200 factors. Few are as follows: • Links : Links analysis algorithm used by Google takes quantities of links into account. Every link to a website is seen as a vote for that website. The more links you get, the higher you will rank. Not every link has the same weight. Links from authorized websites have more influence than links from less popular websites. • Keywords : Google checks, if the search query appears in your domain, url, title, header tags, content than the page will be considered more relevant. • Site Age : Old is gold. Google considers older websites to be more authoritative than new websites. • Freshness : Fresh pages are a sign that the website is not dead. • Other Factors : Site speed, Author Rank, site structure and many more...
