Of Great Value | Part 6

Jesus told a series of parables that will lead us to see a part of the gospel story and representing the Father’s kingdom on earth. To find something that we give our whole lives to is rare. Jesus led the way when He gave everything He had and we can do the same to see the Kingdom of God grow. Our values at Renewal, can only be lived out in Him, as the Kingdom of Heaven is where His values prevail in our lives. How can they be weaved into the life of Renewal? How can they link to our core four that are based around people?

  1. Once again, the kingdom of Heaven is like a net

that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish. When it was full, the fishermen pulled it up on the shore. Then they sat down and collected the good fish in baskets, but threw the bad away. This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous and throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 13:47–50 (NIV)
  2. Therefore go and make disciples of ALL nations, baptising them

in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit Matthew 28:19 (NIV)
  3. Therefore go and make disciples of ALL nations, baptising them

in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit Matthew 28:19 (NIV)
  4. After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that

no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” Revelation 7:9–10 (ESV)
