  1. SUMMARY • In May, the group of channels of general

    viewing lost 0.58 pp (The viewing share reduced at 56.35%). • The group of news channels also slipped in numbers (by 0.71 pp up to 8.78%), however, it remained on the second place. • The viewing share of the group of entertainment channels increased on the contrary (the increase of 0.42 pp to 7.60%) and holding still the third place. • The group of children's channels took 7.54%, which is 0.66 pp. higher its figures in April and remained on the fourth place. • The viewing share of the group of movie channels increased by 0.34 ppt. to 5.37% as the fifth. • The sixth place is taken by a group of documentary channels, the share of viewing of which added 0.08 pp. (Growth by 4.71%). • The group of sports channels on the seventh place in May slightly slipped by 0.38 pp to 3.60%, while music channels on the eighth position increased by 0.07 pp. (Its viewing share in May 2.66%). • The group of TV Series channels holds the ninth place with a total viewing share of 2.42% (an increase by 0.10 pp).

  3. The group of channels of general viewing, May 2019 •

    In May, “1 + 1” channel finished the month with a viewing share of 11.65% (a decrease by 2.14 pp), and the “Ukraina” channel with its share of 9.17% (the increase by 0.22 pp) on the second place. “1+1” channel generated 430.2 thousand contacts, and “Ukraine” channel has a slightly more modest numbers - only 232.6 thousand. • The “ICTV” channel holds the third place having an increase by 0.09 percentage points. (The viewing share is 8.54%, the number of contacts - 380.8 thousand). • On the fourth place, the “STB” channel with a share of 7.21% (a decrease by 0.23 pp and reach of 337.2 thousand contacts). • The “Novy” channel, on the contrary,improved its popularity in May and took the fifth place (an increase by 0.90 pp to 6.75%, 330.6 thousand contacts generated), and “Inter” remains sixth with an indicator of 5, 17 % (the viewing share increased by 0.17 percentage points, 307.4 thousand contacts were generated).

  9. The group of entertainment channels, May 2019 • The “TET”

    channel leads the group slightly increased the viewing share (by 0.07 pp to 2.97%) and gathered 219 thousand contacts with IPTV/OTT households throughout Ukraine. The average viewing time for “TET” was 40.5 minutes in May . • “Mega” remains on the second place with a share of 0.88% (an increase by 0.04 pp). Meanwhile, the share of the “OTSE” channel, third place, increased by 0.13 pp. up to 0.82%. “Mega” had 138.6 thousand contacts with viewers, the “OTSE” channel - 127.7 thousand. • The “TLC” channel went up to fourth place with a rate of 0.44% (an increase by 0.10 pp), and the “Sonce” channel took the fifth place (an increase in viewing by 0.04 pp to 0.42%) • In general, a group of entertainment channels gained 1060000 contacts with IPTV/OTT households, which is 2% more than in April.

  13. The group of children’s channels, May 2019 • “PLUSPLUS” channel

    increased its viewing rate (the increase by 0.26 pp up to 2.06%), and remains on the first place, with 113.8 thousand contacts generated in May. • The “Cartoon Network” channel (the increase of 0.18 pp to 1.68%) took the second place, and the “Pixel” channel (rise in 0.14 pp to 1.32%) on its third place respectively. “Cartoon Network” generated 24.6 thousand contacts, and “Pixel” - 88.4 thousand. • The fourth place is granted to “Nickelodeon”, due to share which has increased to 0.94%, with the number of contacts - 79.9 thousand. • In total, 504.6 thousand contacts with households connected to the IPTV/OTT panel occured in May with the group of children's channels.

  17. The group of movie channels, May 2019 • The viewing

    share of “FOX” channel increased by 0.04 ppt. up to 0.96% in May, so it continues to lead in a group of movie channels. In total, more than 55,600 unique households connected to IPTV/OTT platform watched “FOX” in May across Ukraine with an average viewing rate of 36.3 minutes. • The “Enter-Film” channel is on the second place in same group of channels (the viewing share is 0.73%, the increase by 0.06 pp), which was viewed by 88.3 thousand households. • The third place is taken by “TV 1000 East” channel (0.50% viewing share, an increase of 0.07 pp). • The “VOLIA CINE + HIT” channel (the growth in the proportion of viewing by 0.03 pp to 0.44%) remains on the fourth place - the channel reached 12.9 thousand households in May. • “TV 1000 Action East” with an index of 0.41% (an increase of 0.07 pp.) Moved to the fifth place in the group. • In general, a group of movie channels scored 360.5 thousand contacts with IPTV / OTT households.     first place in the group of documentary channels is taken by NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC, the viewing share of which has grown by 0.06 ppt. to 0.72% (the total number of contacts with channel - 53.4 thousand households), and Discovery channel remains on second place in same group with unchanged index of 0.60%. The number of contacts with IPTV/OTT households throughout Ukraine the channel has generated is 27.6 thousand • Nat Geo Wild held on third place with its share of viewing of 0.46% (a decrease by 0.04 pp). • Discovery Science (the viewing share of 0.43%) stood on the fourth place, and Animal Planet channel located on the fifth with the index of 0.40%. • The average time of viewing for TV-leaders in the group of documentary channels in May: NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC - 29 minutes, Discovery channel - 37 minutes, Nat Geo Wild - 35.3 minutes. • In general, the group of documentary channels generated 778 thousand contacts with IPTV/OTT households in May.

  25. The group of news channels, May 2019 • The group

    of news channels has lost a little in its popularity, but continues to occupy the second place in the total share of viewing. It is not surprising due to the rapid course of political events and the expectation of decisive actions of the new President, “Channel 112” received its share of 2.79%, which is 0.10 pp lower than its result in April, and took the first place with 158.5 thousand contacts. The average viewing time was 55 minutes, which is 2.5 minutes more than in April. • The viewing share of the “News One” channel remained unchanged at 1.71%. The channel received 89.6 thousand unique contacts in May. • On the third place is the “PRYAMIY” Channel (the viewing share has decreased by 0.30 pp to the level of 1.06%), which generated 52.8 thousand contacts. • “Espresso TV” holds the fourth place with a share of 0.82%, which decreased by 0.12 pp .. Channel coverage has numbered 143.3 thousand households. • The total amount of contacts of IPTV/OTT households with in the group of news channels throughout Ukraine reached 1 million in May, which is 7% less than in April.

    was a change of the group leader – “Football 1” channel (a decrease in viewing share by 0.47 pp to 1.10%) gave up the first place to “Football 2” channel (an increase of 0.03 pp to 1.35%) .     remains on the first place among the regional channels (the share of viewing 0.085% stays unchanged). • The “ATR” channel with the index of 0.07% hold firm on the second place. • The “Kiev channel”, which share of viewing decreased to 0.05% in May , took the third place. • In May, a group of regional channels received more than 225 thousand contacts with households.
