    a l e y ( 2 0 1 9 ) ISCHAEMIA ; Typical & atypical symptomology. NICE defines anginal pain as follows; Constricting discomfort in the front of the chest, neck, shoulder, jaw or arms. Precipitated by physical exertion. Eased by GTN within ~ 5 mins. 3 of the above is typical angina. 2 of the above is atypical angina. 1 or none of the above is non-anginal chest pain. Typical symptoms Atypical symptoms Chest discomfort described as; Tightness A dull ache A pressure A "weight on the chest" Squeezing Radiating into; Arms Jaw Shoulder Neck W/ associated; Dyspnoea Nausea Diaphoresis Pallor Levine's sign Chest discomfort described as; Sharp / stabbing Burning A stitch Tearing Radiating into the back Right-sided Abdominal discomfort Syncope / presyncope Lethargy / weakness Dizziness Palpitation (not an exhaustive list)
