Some helpful steps you can take to ensure the best job search experience using StartWire!

2. 1 Apply to jobs instantly using Express Apply Jobs
3. With Express Apply: • You view the job description & if you’re interested, click “Submit”! • Your resume is sent straight to the employer. • No applications are needed. • Express Apply Jobs take less than 30 seconds to apply!
4. You can spot Express Apply Jobs by their orange icon!
5. 2 Track your applications & get automatic status updates
6. Benefits: • The more applications you track, the better our job recommendations become. • You stay organized & have a history of your job applications. • Receive automatic status updates on your application if it falls within our network of 10,000+ employers.
7. Forward your ‘Thanks for applying’ emails to apps@startwire.com. We’ll automatically pull job title, company name, and application date from the email & create an application record in StartWire.
8. Add one or multiple applications using the +1 or +Many options Jobs you’ve already applied to are listed under Applications. Jobs you’ve browsed are automatically saved under Viewed.
9. 3 Use Tracker – your own personal job search assistant
10. Benefits: • Tracker is a browser plug-in that works in the background to automatically save any jobs you’ve viewed. • It automatically syncs with your StartWire account to add all Applied & Viewed Jobs to your main dashboard/ application activity. • How cool is that?!
11. Tracker will keep track of every job you’ve viewed on all your favorite sites. You don’t need to do anything – Tracker will save everything for you!
12. As you’re job searching, Tracker will give recommendations for jobs similar to the ones you are viewing or have applied to.
13. 4 Customize your Profile
14. Profile Add keywords – The engine will send you job recommendations based on these specified keywords!
15. Change the location of your search & distance parameters Don’t like a job or company? Add keywords you don’t want – The engine will eliminate these job listings from your job recommendations! Don’t forget to Save Changes!
