What started as a simple home experiment to automate lighting scene controls and monitor my newborn baby from work via a network camera, quickly turned into a full-blown Home Automation project that required all my knowledge gained over the years from projects in ITT!

In this talk, I'll be sharing with you the things that I've done with Home Automation so far, and how I harnessed the best practices and security concepts that I learnt from work to do them.
