These are some lessons that I wish I knew before I went off to university about the way people learn, build, and share.

This talk was given at GSET 2016 and Campfire 2016.

39. Makala went to 14 hackathons over a 4 month period. She was hooked and couldn’t wait to share them with her friends.
40. She has been bringing her friends and classmates to hackathons ever since.
41. Makala also uses video to inspire people she doesn’t know to go to hackathons.
