UX is Agile, just not as you know it

Even though UX continues to mature and bear fruitful outcomes for companies, there is still a want to make it fit in the Agile development process. But as the old adage goes, this is like putting a square peg in a round hole. Agile is a great process for software development, but how are we supposed to ensure an acceptable user experience if we don't have the time to define it and are just designing individual features?
