Here, Now and Later tonight! (Mitul Bhat)

In Kungfu Panda, Master Ooqway tells Po, “Yesterday is History, Tomorrow a Mystery, Today is a Gift, That’s why it's called the Present.” In today’s world though, your yesterday’s data points are going to give valuable insights on your tomorrow’s transactions. And the magic lies in making those transactions happen in the present as gifts!

Welcome to the Internet of Things
    - Everyday objects, have (or will soon have) the ability to send and
    receive data via the Internet.
    - In 2008, the number of devices connected to the Internet surpassed
the number of people using the Internet.
    - Today, we have over 10 billion connected objects in the world and by
2020, this is predicted to rise to 50 billion.

    The Wabi Sabi Philosophy
    “wabi-sabi is the
    Japanese art of finding
    beauty in
    imperfection and
    profundity in nature, of
    accepting the natural
    cycle of growth, decay,
    and death.
    Nothing Lasts: The user’s interest
is ever changing. what she likes
    today, she might not tomorrow!
    Nothing’s finished: The
app/object is always in an iterative
state, learning and growing with the
    user.
    Nothing’s perfect: even the user
    him/herself.
    Infinite Possiblities: the user can
    do what she wants

Huge opportunity space for early entrants
There’s much to be gained from allowing your smartphone to record
everything. When you understand your own behavior, you’re in a better
position to change it. And when companies understand your behavior,
they can theoretically serve you better.
"In the future, you become the query," Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer has
said of the trend. "It’s what you type, your background, where you are, who
    you are.”

Each user’s behavior is captured as a
    unique Signature using predictive
    analytics (Personal Graph)
    - Signature is computed from activities that are
performed by the user at different devices at
    different times and location (spatio-temporal
    intelligence)
    Signature is essential to determine
    user intent and deliver individualized
    content discovery
    How do we do it?
