What would a Beer Blogger write about Milwaukee? • Pabst has a brewery on Juneau Avenue. • Notable brewers – Miller, Schlitz, Blatz. • Milwaukee has a total of over 40 breweries. • Malting is major part of the Milwaukee Beer Economy. • Equipment & Suppliers – Everything from Brewhouse to racking lines to Yeast. • But that was 1870….

Today • Over 25 breweries in the Greater Milwaukee Area, with many more in planning. • Miller Brewing has a brewery on Plank Road..(today called State Street). • Milwaukee Brewing Construction on the Pabst Campus. • Malting is still part of Milwaukee…. • Home of many brewing related industries…Krones, Fermentis, Sprinkman... • And Pabst has a brewery on Juneau Avenue…and Schlitz and Blatz beers live on as members of the PBC family.
