  4. Step 1 Understand what role you want to play in

the tech space Knowing yourself helps to go a long way in choosing what aspect of tech you want to play in. This can come from your personality or your career background. For example, someone who is entrepreneurial in nature can fit into the product management space. Knowing who you are and/or where you currently are in your career plays a huge role in transitioning.
  5. Pick a role that aligns with what you want or

enjoy doing Step 2 If you are a lover of numbers, you most likely want to be in the data space. If you are the creative type, you may be eyeing UI/UX, 3D, VR &AR. These are things you have to enjoy. You should either have them as a skill or ensure it’s something you will be interested in learning.
  6. Start learning & Practice Step 3 You need to start

learning if you are looking to build tech skills. You also need a trusted tutor (virtual or physical) to help you understand these skills. After learning, go ahead to create projects, which, in turn, will be suitable for your portfolio. Another thing you can do is to seek internship positions that will help you to get your foot in the door.
  7. Build your network and connections Step 4 The old saying

“It’s not what you know but whom you know” applies now more than ever. Landing a job in a tech company is all about your skills, experience and, most importantly, your network within that space. Hence, build your social media presence, connect with the right people and communities around your tech career, attend meetups and volunteer.
  8. What are the Core Technologies of the Metaverse? Blockchain In

the metaverse, blockchain promises a way to give users more control over their online experience, taking us away from Web 2.0 and into Web 3.0. Blockchain is already making waves in the metaverse with things like Non- Fungible Tokens as a way of investing in and supporting artists, and decentralized finance. Artificial Intelligence Improving the link between the physical world and the digital world requires a certain level of intelligence from machines. Artificial Intelligence is essential for a number of metaverse experiences. AI also supports things like computer vision and Simultaneous Location and Mapping technologies.
  9. What are the Core Technologies of the Metaverse? Extended Reality

Extended reality or XR involves merging the physical and digital worlds through the use of headsets and devices. With extended reality, we can step into virtual worlds and interact with 3D avatars in communities. We can use mixed and augmented reality to bring digital content into the real world too, changing the way we interact with everything from maps to retail experiences.
  10. Is the Metaverse a Good Thing? The metaverse is a

place where we can effectively learn, build, play, communicate, and collaborate with anyone on earth. Simultaneously, it makes the world smaller by connecting us regardless of geographical location and more significant by allowing more opportunities. Used correctly, the metaverse could bring human beings together like never before, giving us new opportunities to connect regardless of language differences or location. It could be the start of new environments, where we can build brand-new economies based on the shared distribution of value.
