why should I care about diversity?

why are people so upset about this?

is it really as bad and widespread as people say
it is?
but isn’t the problem the pipeline?
isn’t doing outreach to a specific group
isn’t that discriminatory against the majority?
why should we have to lower our standards to increase
diversity?
but isn’t tech a meritocracy?
we’re all adults, why can’t we just be nice to
each other?
yeah, but what can I do about it?
why are you mad at me, it’s not my fault
how do I know if I’m doing something
how do I help without speaking for people?
