Digitally distracted: how society is impacted by tech

We live in a digitally obsessed world. As designers, we are responsible for creating this addictive technology that can disrespect our users as humans. However, we have the opportunity to build experiences that create positive and healthy relationships with technology. During this talk, I discuss the social, mental, and physiological impact of the technology we’ve created, how being constantly plugged in can affect our own well-being, and how we can begin to design more responsibly to respect our users as human beings.
