  1. MARADECA in Child protection ›  MARADECA’s mandate is centered through

    the issues and situations of “the deprived” and “the neglected” around urban and rural communities of Marawi City and Lanao del Sur. As far as MARADECA is concerned in promoting, protecting and fulfilling the children’s rights protection from abuse, neglect, exploitation and violence as expressed by the communities. MARADECA had undertaken awareness raising and trainings in child protection in its partner communities.

    the Child Protection Policy among the staffs last February 27, 2014 ›  Signing of all staff a Commitment for the Child Protection Policy ›  Integration of Monitoring of Child Protection in the monthly submitted reports (Field Staff)Monitoring Report.docx ›  Orientation on parents about Child protection policy in the 239 partnered communities of MARADECA and is planned to organize them into a Child Protection Core Group to monitor child abused and other forms of child related violence in their communities.
  3. Who was the main target? ›  The most vulnerable sector

    and deprived communities including children that is in accordance with the international accepted standard and definition. - All the 239 partner communities of MARADECA. - All those 6,816 learners that are being monitored.
  4. Highlights of lessons learned and success ›  MARADECA ensures that

    child protection policy cut across in its entire programs. ›  Parents were able to understand child protection ›  The establishment of monitoring report on child protection. ›  Established coordination with line agencies that concerned with child protection like DSWD, DepEd and DOLE. ›  The importance of CHILD PROTECTION CORE GROUP must be established in the communities to monitor child related abuse and violence.
