1. Luke 5 : 1-11 No fish? – No worries!
2. ALLOW Jesus to take control “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5 “In the same way, those of you who do not give up everything you have cannot be my disciples.” Luke 14:33 "Simply put, if you're not willing to take what is dearest to you, whether plans or people, and kiss it good-bye, you can't be my disciple.” (Message ) Luke 14:33
3. be OBEDIENT in the impossible “When Jesus finished teaching, he said to Simon, "Put out into deep water and let your nets out for a catch." Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets” (Luke 5:4-5). God knows what He is doing God blesses obedience God’s miracles require our co-operation.
4. RESET the priorities Then Jesus said to Simon, “Don’t be afraid; from now on you will catch men.” So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him (Luke 5:10,11). “Follow” = walk the same road
