The Double Diamond Design Process

The Double Diamond Design Process

If you and your team are working on a project or product, it is helpful to be conscious about what is the most important focus at any given time. Do you focus on the problem (i.e. learning about your cutomers needs or what problem your product is solving) or on the solution (i.e. developing a new feature)? Are you exploring technical options for a new feature or deciding which is the best option to use?
Having clear expectations about the phase you are in helps the team to understand the priorities and prevent scope problems. And getting to a common understanding of the problem you are solving helps setting the right priorities and avoid opinionated discussions with clients and stakeholders.
