  1. 2 IMI2 is a Government Interoperability Framework to realize a

society where data can be smoothly harnessed and connected. We have been working on a government interoperability framework named IMI since 2011 We are moving forward with our government interoperability framework project under the new name IMI2, as we move toward 2030, a data-driven society. 2 意味(IMI) IMI means semantics in Japanese.
  2. Trust & Safety Our vision:Data-driven society 3 Ease of operations

by data reuse and matching 1.Trust mechanisms for secure data and service use 2.Mechanism for Easy-to-find and easy-to-connect data 3.Diverse, quality-assured, and sufficient supply of data Priority data Statistics Sensing data Various Services Well-being society Base registries Open data +Data from private sector Platform Easy access to the data you need Easy to start new services Distributed data management Eliminate duplicate investments Digital Twin Efficient Society Interoperability

  4. To make it a sustainable initiative, it is important to

build on the foundation. 5. • IMI2 is a part of our National Data Strategy.

    • We define the IMI2 architecture. • It especially focus on the Rule, Platform and Data layer. IMI2 provide rules, tools, data models and technical guidelines. Overview of IMI2 6 Trust (DFFT) Data Data Building blocks for data services Rule Security / Privacy / ID Organization and Human resource Business and Service Building blocks for connection Strategy Asset Data model Data model Platform
  6. • IMI2 is essential infrastructure for data-driven society. • All

services, including AI and mobility services, will be based on this infrastructure. Role of IMI2 7 Reduction of design cost and time Ease of integration and scalability Improvement of user experience IMI2 Lower design and operating costs and time because it utilizes a reference model Utilizes a reference model, making it easier to collaborate with other organizations and leverage existing applications Improve the convenience of services by redirecting the design effort to service enhancement one. (Once-Only services)
