30. 5 take-home points • 20% of Riparian community demanded water hyacinths should be cleaned immediately. • 13% of Riparian community said manual excavation will be successful if NREGA would be implemented properly. • 75% of Riparian community requested dredging through machine (JCB) can do best. • 60% of Riparian community asked mutual consultation on water related issues between India and Bangladesh. • People have limited access to government development schemes other than PDS, SWASTHASATHI, KANYASREE.
