5. CYBEE’S GENESIS The Cybee co-founding team The team behind Cybee are Nuabee’s founders and now have over 10 years’ experience in cloud backup and cyber resilience. Eric DERONZIER Gabriel SAUDIN 40 years in the IT sector & 25 years in cybersecurity : Contributed to the conception of Nuabee DRaaS. • Founded a cybersecurity consultancy firm (2003) First as a developer, then as a Cloud architect and CTO • Founded Nuabee - Disaster Recovery as a Service. ARYME Group The ARYME Group aims to cover the essentials of the cyber-resilience value chain by offering medium-sized enterprises, SMEs and local authorities' backup solutions, managed cloud disaster recovery plans and cyber-resilience consultancy services. The operating companies NUABEE SAS and CYBEE SAS are wholly owned by the DERONZIER family and 80% by the branch of the family to which Mr Eric DERONZIER, founder and director of both companies, belongs. CYBEE’S VISION 4 convictions about where backup is heading 1 CLOUD IS BECOMING THE PRIMARY BACKUP 3 REVERSIBILITY The cloud is becoming the primary backup capacity, not a secondary copy: Gartner expects a sharp shift toward Backup-as-a-Service by 2028.¹ By 2028, 75% of organizations will regard SaaS application backup as a critical requirement, compared with 15% in 2024 (Gartner Newsroom, 2024). Vendor lock-in is turning from an inconvenience into a liability : an open, documented backup format becomes a requirement, not a nice-to-have. 2 EUROPEAN SOVEREIGNTY 4 PERFORMANCE Europe's dependence on nonEuropean data infrastructure is no longer an acceptable default: three US hyperscalers hold about 70 % of the European cloud market.² AWS, Microsoft and Google account for ~70 % of the European cloud market; European providers account for ~15% (2025); confirmed by a European Parliament briefing (Dec. 2025). The volume of data to be backed up is increasing very rapidly in businesses, whilst backup temporal constraints remain unchanged. There are high demands in terms of both backup speed and restore speed. 6
