CLOUD IS BECOMING THE PRIMARY BACKUP 3 REVERSIBILITY The cloud is becoming the primary backup capacity, not a secondary copy: Gartner expects a sharp shift toward Backup-as-a-Service by 2028.¹ By 2028, 75% of organizations will regard SaaS application backup as a critical requirement, compared with 15% in 2024 (Gartner Newsroom, 2024). Vendor lock-in is turning from an inconvenience into a liability : an open, documented backup format becomes a requirement, not a nice-to-have. 2 EUROPEAN SOVEREIGNTY 4 PERFORMANCE Europe's dependence on nonEuropean data infrastructure is no longer an acceptable default: three US hyperscalers hold about 70 % of the European cloud market.² AWS, Microsoft and Google account for ~70 % of the European cloud market; European providers account for ~15% (2025); confirmed by a European Parliament briefing (Dec. 2025). The volume of data to be backed up is increasing very rapidly in businesses, whilst backup temporal constraints remain unchanged. There are high demands in terms of both backup speed and restore speed. 6
UP LARGE DATA VOLUMES 3 EASE OF USE Back up large data volumes and, above all, restore them fast in the Cloud : restore throughput measured up to 4 TB/h per disk. ▪ A single agent for Windows and Linux ▪ A simple console, reports and alerts ▪ API available for your integrations ▪ Up and running in a matter of hours 2 ORCHESTRATE EVERY ACTION 4 IMMUTABLE BACKUP Repository integrity checks, pruning, and backup ensure that the backup contract is automatically fulfilled rather than merely hoped for. Keep every backup immutable, confidential and future-proof : end-to-end encryption with customer-held keys, postquantum resistance “Without immutable backup, no cyber-resilience is possible.” 7
ARE DESIGNED FOR THE LAN ERA LOW CLOUD DEDUP SPLIT WIN/LINUX AGENTS Most tools perform poorly against : • cloud storage • inflating long-term costs THOSE GAPS ARE EXACTLY WHAT CYBEE WAS BUILT TO ADDRESS Windows & Linux required separate agents, creating gaps and inconsistencies SLOW CLOUD RESTORE Existing solutions are too slow for multi-terabyte disaster recovery scenarios The backup format does not allow for easy switching of providers doesn’t fit VENDOR LOCK IN Users feel trap, even when the solution d, switching providers is harder 8
