2. Executive summary: This project is called School Management System (SMS). The main purpose of this system is to help the administrator to explore all the activities helping inside the school. This is generic type of software suitable for all the schools. These activities include the detail knowledge of the following:  Students  Teachers  Attendance  Reports In this system Only Administrator allows to access and manipulate this system Objective: The main objective of the system is to reduced consumption of time during maintaining the records of school management. Separate interfaces are provided to maintain Students and Employees. In other words, SMS has following objectives:  Simple database is maintained  Easy operation for the operator of the system  User interface are user-friendly and attractive, it takes very less time for the operatorot get use-to with the system Existing School Management System All the previous management systems have file saving system which is not reliable and fast way to manage records more over the existing system is a manual one and there is lot of issues like erroneous data, slow process, lack of security etc. For example to find the student record or keep Teachers records save it will take too much time Defining the problem The aim is to develop the software to keep all the records of the School Management. As the existing system is manual our aim is to deliver computerized school management system. In this way administrators can easily manage all the records of system and School Management saves so much time. Today all the work at the time of student admission is done manually by paper and file storage system which is very slow and consume much effort the computerized system has more edge over manual system

Developing Solution Strategies The proposed system is to facilitate easy management and administration of a School Management System it helps administration to RETRIVE INSERT and UPDATE student data in an efficient way.
