Summary At Continental I have developed separate tools including the ConNext Enhancer that enhances our Connections daily usage with powerful additional features or better integration with other tools. In this short session I will reveal some of the tools magic in a live demonstration. I will also explain shortly the technical background and requirements. It is an appetizer inviting for further exchange and discussion.
3. Connections Enhancer - Features Overview • Some work-around around known issues (e.g. language bug) • Some UX improvements (e.g. quick search, create new) • Some missing features (e.g. TOC) • Efficiency improvement, power-up, add-on • Interoperability with other tools - mainly Microsoft o365

8. Mentions -> Profile pictures • Useful for Team or Contact pages • Make it more personal/ visual Pros: People picture is dynamically linked to the profile picture (if you update it will reflect on the page)
9. Profile search -> Table of people • Based on a profile search query Pros: Quick-update feature
10. Technical background / requirements Tools are running only on Windows OS It is implemented with AutoHotkey but can be deployed as standalone compiled version. Some features requires textbox.io editor because of this hotkey Implementation is fully working within Continental. Most of it shall work elsewhere but wasn’t tested.
