2. Psalms 128:1 NLT 1 “How joyful are those who fear the Lord— all who follow his ways!”
3. Psalms 128:2 NLT 2 “You will enjoy the fruit of your labor. How joyful and prosperous you will be!”
4. Psalms 128:3 NLT 3 “Your wife will be like a fruitful grapevine, flourishing within your home. Your children will be like vigorous young olive trees as they sit around your table.”
5. Psalms 128:4 NLT 4 “That is the Lord’s blessing for those who fear him.”
6. Psalms 128:5 NLT 5 “May the Lord continually bless you from Zion. May you see Jerusalem prosper as long as you live.”
7. If there’s anything in shortage today in our world it is REAL MEN
8. who will say “as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” REAL MEN
9. Not every male is a real man, , Is a GODLY MAN. REAL MAN a
10. You can be born male, but it takes Maturit strong decision to be a MAN. MATURITY STRONG DECISIONS &
11. You are young only once, but you can be immature forever.
12. It’s only in the Word of God we’re going to find God’s design for the MAN.
13. I’m talking about being a real, masculine, Godly, and Biblical Man.
14. A REAL MAN WILL HAVE A Faithful WALK
15. Psalms 128:1 NLT 1 “How joyful are those who fear the Lord— all who follow his ways!”
16. It talks about the pattern that a husband and father is to set before his children.
17. He is to be a worshipping Father. WORSHIPPING
18. He is to be a Godly Husband. GODLY
19. He is to have a personal walk with almighty God.
20. His wife and children need to see the husband and father walking with God.
21. In the home, the man is a figure, a picture of God.
22. Genesis 2:15 NLT 15 “The Lord God placed the man in the Garden of Eden to tend and watch over it."
23. In the home, the husband represents God to his children, & the Lord Jesus Christ to his wife.
24. Fathers, The reason we ought to live a Godly life is that we are modeling ..
25. Before our family what God is like & what the Lord Jesus Christ is like.
26. A good family life is a reward for following God. REWARD
27. A REAL MAN WILL HAVE A Fruitful WALK
28. Psalms 128:2 NLT 2 “You will enjoy the fruit of your labor. How joyful and prosperous you will be!”
29. Work is a blessing when life is centered on God.
30. The psalmist promises that the results of our labor will be enjoyed.
31. Our years of labors will bring fruitfulness and joy to our life and family.
32. God’s design for the man Is to provide for his family. PROVIDE
33. He is to be a provider for the home.
34. We are to provide emotional, spiritual security, welfare and peace in our home.
35. We need to be careful men, our Church may be in trouble
36. Because we have men who have not been provider of spiritual leadership and spiritual protection in their home.
37. When real men in our church raise up and truly say, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
38. And begin to be that fruitful & faithful father, that father that God has given us in His Word,
39. That’s when our community is going to turn to God.
40. A REAL MAN WILL HAVE A that worships Family
41. Psalms 128:3 NLT 3 “Your wife will be like a fruitful grapevine, flourishing within your home. Your children will be like vigorous young olive trees as they sit around your table.”
42. Psalms 128:4 NLT 4 “That is the Lord’s blessing for those who fear him.”
43. Psalms 128:5 NLT 5 “May the Lord continually bless you from Zion. May you see Jerusalem prosper as long as you live.”
44. He is a man that seeks God’s blessing & therefore becomes God’s blessing. SEEKS
45. A vine is very fruitful, but it needs support.
46. It needs something to lean upon.
47. So our wives are like vine by the side of the house.
48. And the Olive trees, our children.
49. In the Middle East, If you have a source of productivity, a source of wealth.
50. These olive trees, green, productive, beautiful and stable, but they need to be cultivated.
51. Ephesians 6:4 KJV 4 “And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.”
52. The word nurture here is the idea of tending a garden, just like you would cultivate your olive trees.
53. Weeding, watering, fertilizing, takes Discipline, instruction & demonstration.
54. Study tells us that if the father does not spend time with his daughter, her chances of becoming frigid or promiscuous are greatly increased.
55. These are our olive plants, we must make time for them.
56. A real man’s assignment is to make his wife more radiantly beautiful Christian.
57. A real man is the pastor in the home. PASTOR
58. The blessings goes to the nation.
59. America, will never be right until our homes are right.
60. Our home will never be right until daddies get right.
61. Conclusion
62. When the Lord was creating fathers he started with a tall frame.
63. And an angel standing nearby said, “What kind of father is that?”
64. “If You’re going to make children so close to the ground, why have you put fathers up so high?”
65. “He won’t be able to shoot marbles without kneeling.”
66. “He won’t be able to tuck a child in bed without bending.”
67. “He won’t even be able to kiss a child without stooping?”
