RIGHT DECISION done repeatedly over time compound SUCCESS
WRONG DECISION done repeatedly over time compound FAILURE
You are where you are in life, not because of
bad luck, not because of a conspiracy against you, not because of bad parentage; but because of the choices you have made.
You are where you are in life, not because of
bad luck, not because of a conspiracy against you, not because of bad parentage; but because of the choices you have made.
Winners take the dream then add sweat, work, diligence, fervency,
discipline, and drive to make it happen.
TO WIN
24 “Strive to enter through the narrow door [force aside
unbelief and the attractions of sin]; LUKE 13:24 AMP
24 “For many, I tell you, will try to enter
[by their own works] and will not be able.” LUKE 13:24 AMP
Jesus is saying to us that we must make every
effort to seek the best course of life.
We must seek diligently, for a few ever find it.
Now the bible says in so many words that the
broad way is easy.
Now the bible says in so many words that the
broad way is easy.
The general thought on this highway is that they are
only accountable to themselves, because it’s all about self.
Therefore it doesn’t matter how you run on this track,
because there is plenty of room for error.
For those who choose this path their final end is
destruction.
Now the bible says in so many words that the
broad way is easy.
But on the narrow path there is much need for
endurance.
On the narrow path, we will find that Satan has
placed many hidden traps and snares which will cause many difficulties
But thank God for Jesus, it is He who helps
us endure the struggles along the way.
It really matters how you run on this path. Because
you realize,
Its not ABOUT YOU its about PLEASING GOD
You will come to find there isn’t much room for
error because narrow is the path and difficult is the way.
Narrow is the way that leads to life.
Narrow is the way that leads to life.
2 “We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus,
the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. HEBREWS 12:2 NLT
2 “Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the
cross, disregarding its shame.” HEBREWS 12:2 NLT
2 “Now He is seated in the place of honor
beside God’s throne.” HEBREWS 12:2 NLT
3 “Think of all the hostility He endured from sinful
people; then you won’t become weary and give up.” HEBREWS 12:3 NLT
Let’s look at some of the things Jesus endured:
He endured the hostilities of the people when all He
wanted to do was show them a better way of life.
He endured the hostilities of the people when all He
wanted to do was show them a better way of life.
He endured the false accusations about him when men refused
to hear the truth.
He endured the hostilities of the people when all He
wanted to do was show them a better way of life.
He endured the interrogation of the priest as they interrogated
him and spite on him and smote him with their hands.
He endured the hostilities of the people when all He
wanted to do was show them a better way of life.
He endure the trials by Pilate even thought Pilate wanted
to let him go.
He endured the hostilities of the people when all He
wanted to do was show them a better way of life.
He endured the 39 stripes by which we are healed.
He endured the nails that were placed in his hands
and the nails that were placed in his feet.
He endured the hostilities of the people when all He
wanted to do was show them a better way of life.
He endured the sword that pierced his side.
He endured the hostilities of the people when all He
wanted to do was show them a better way of life.
He endured dying a shameful death for you and me.
SO LET’S PRESS TOWARD the mark for the prize of
the HIGH CALLING OF GOD in Christ Jesus
And hold on to your faith through the trials and
tribulations of life.
We are called to ENDURE in order to WIN OUR
RACE!
TO WIN
7 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished
the race, and I have remained faithful.” 2 TIMOTHY 4:7 NLT
8 “And now the prize awaits me— the crown of
righteousness,” 2 TIMOTHY 4:8 NLT
8 “Which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me
on the day of His return.” 2 TIMOTHY 4:8 NLT
8 “And the prize is not just for me but
for all who eagerly look forward to His appearing.” 2 TIMOTHY 4:8 NLT
The act of deciding definitely and firmly.
PERSEVERANCE A determined continuation, firm and definite act.
Perseverance comes from holding on over a period of time
after you had setbacks and difficulties.
Perseverance comes from holding on over a period of time
after you had setbacks and difficulties.
Paul gave these words to encourage Timothy and for us
to persevere, so that no matter how difficult the fight seems, we can keep fighting.
Perseverance is not only needed to go through the trials
and tribulations of life,
perseverance is also needed as we respond to God’s grace
and answers God’s call for discipleship.
Life and our Christian walk are more a marathon than
a sprint.
Our Life and Christian walk Is more like a marathon
than a sprint.
Every runner knows that if you are ever going to
complete a marathon you need to have perseverance.
Our struggles as Christ’s follower builds perseverance, perseverance shapes our
character.
Our struggles as Christ’s follower builds perseverance, and perseverance shapes
our character.
LET PERSEVERANCE FINISH ITS WORK so that you may be
MATURE & COMPLETE
NOT LACKING ANYTHING
4 “Let perseverance finish it’s work so that you may
be mature and complete, not lacking anything” JAMES 1:4 NIV
12 “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because,
having stood the test,” JAMES 1:12 NIV
12 “That person will receive the crown of life that
the Lord has promised to those who love Him.” JAMES 1:12 NIV
God wants us mature and be complete, not to keep
us from all pain,
He’s more interested with our CHARACTER than our comfort
The crown of life is like the victory wreath given
to winning athletes in the natural.
The crown of life is like the victory wreath given
to winning athletes in the natural.
God’s crown of life is glory and honor here on
earth but the reward of eternal life is living with God forever.
The way to be in God’s winner circle is by
loving Him and staying faithful even under pressure.
PERSEVERANCE IN OUR WALK FOR CHRIST is our goal as
disciples.
God’s Word makes it clear that our perseverance is dependent
on our relationship with Christ, and our relationship with other believers.

10 “Even while Israel wandered in the wilderness. Today I
am eighty-five years old.” JOSHUA 14:10 NLT
11 “I am as strong now as I was when
Moses sent me on that journey, and I can still travel and fight as well as I could then.” JOSHUA 14:11 NLT

promised me.” JOSHUA 14:12 NLT

of Jephunneh the Kenizzite” JOSHUA 14:14 NLT
14 “Because he wholeheartedly followed the Lord, the God of
Israel.” JOSHUA 14:14 NLT
The greatest men and women of the Bible were not
super-people but they had great resilience.
To be resilient means that you are a person with
an ability to bounce back from defeats, discouragements or hardships.
RESILIENT a person with an ability to bounce back from
defeats, discouragements or hardships.
When we think of the people who are most admirable.
the resilient one’s always come to mind.
Perseverance is not only needed to go through the trials
and tribulations of life,
These "never say die" folks believe God for His promises
regardless of the circumstances.
They are filled with an overcoming attitude that expects God
to use them regardless of their handicaps.
Resigning oneself to defeat is not a normal response for
a resilient believer because they know that God is greater than any problem.
And His mighty power working through them enables them to
do everything God asks them to do with the help of Christ who gives them the strength, wisdom and love to get the job done.
Caleb was resilient and faithful from the start.
Caleb was resilient and faithful from the start.
Here, 45 years later, the land was given to him,
his faith was still unwavering.
Although his inherited land still had giants, Caleb knew that
the Lord would help him conquer them.
Like Caleb, we must be resilient and faithful to God,
not only at the start of our walk with Him, but throughout our entire life.
Like Caleb, we must be resilient and faithful to God,
not only at the start of our walk with Him, but throughout our entire life.
Job showed resilience after experiencing great hardships by saying, "LORD,
now I know you can do all things and no purpose of yours can be thwarted."
Like Caleb, we must be resilient and faithful to God,
not only at the start of our walk with Him, but throughout our entire life.
Timothy showed resilience when the elders looked down on his
youthfulness.
Paul wrote to Timothy, Do not let anyone look down
on you because you are young.
12 “Be in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show
yourself to be an example to the believers.” 1 TIMOTHY 4:12
Peter evidenced great resilience after stumbling badly many times with
great shame in the eyes of many.
3 “Eventually, Peter came to the realization,” 2 PETER 1:3
3 “ His divine power has given us everything we
need for life and godliness..” 2 PETER 1:3
3 “Through our knowledge of Him who called us by
His own glory and goodness." 2 PETER 1:3
Christ showed resilience when He resurrected from the dead showing
everyone…
His power to defeat the world, the flesh, the devil
and even death through His resurrection power that is greater than life itself.
“After His resurrection Jesus said to the disciples,” MATTHEW 28:19,
20
"All power in heaven and earth is given to Me...
Go and make disciples of all nations." MATTHEW 28:19, 20
Paul showed great resilience throughout his more than 35 years
of ministry.
"You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of
life..” 2 TIMOTHY 3:10 NIV
“My purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance,” 2 TIMOTHY 3:10 NIV
“Persecutions, sufferings, …..the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued
me from all of them.” 2 TIMOTHY 3:11 NIV

JESUS IS OUR GOAL In that we must be committed
to be like HIM.
That is the reason we run,
We are being CONFORMED into HIS IMAGE.
A lot of times we think of heaven as our
goal, But heaven is already guaranteed to you if you’re a believer.
If you’re a Believer, HEAVEN IS YOUR HOME, it’s already
yours
But we still have A RACE TO RUN.
