  1. QUEUE & SHOP ONLINE, COLLECT AT SPECIFIC TIMES, VIA DRIVE

THROUGH SYSTEM. MCDONALDS FOR SUPERMARKETS No more standing in line to go into the supermarket, no need to join the crowds in the supermarket, no need to wait anxiously for delivery, or to keep refreshing the website for an available timeslot. Save time & pick up in the safety and comfort of your own car. www.skiptheq.net
  2. TIME SLOT SELECTION • Initial focus: time slots for collection

(rather than delivery) • Don’t waste time filling up your online shopping cart only to realise there are no delivery slots available! • Customers can schedule slots up to 8 hours before collection time. • Gives supermarket staff a buffer zone to pack items and have each grocery bag ready for collection • Able to reschedule or cancel appointments up to 8 hours before collection time. 1
  3. TIME SLOT SELECTION • Once time slot has been selected,

both the customer and the supermarket gets an identical email confirmation. • This can be easily added to the customer’s iphone/android/outlook/google calendars. • Customer gets a text message / SMS reminder 2 hours before the collection time. • As you will see later – this allows matching of customer timeslot bookings to the online shopping carts, giving supermarket staff the necessary information to pack the customer’s shopping in time for collection & to contact the customer if necessary. 1
  4. SUPERMARKET SELECTION • Allows customer to select preferred supermarket. •

Relies on customer to comply with lockdown related geographical distancing requirements / driving restrictions. 2
  5. SHOPPING ONLINE & CHECK OUT • Customer is able to

review online shopping cart and modify quantity of items before checkout. 3
  6. STAFF RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Review timeslot selection email for each customer.

    2. Review online shopping cart in the internal order fulfilment and tracking system. 3. Pack items for each customer within buffer timeframe (8 hours). 4. Leave each customer’s packed groceries at collection station at the selected time slot. 1. Collection station to be determined in advance by each supermarket & location will be published on website.
  7. ONLINE ORDER TRACKING • Easily track both customer timeslots, and

orders made online. • View each customer’s shopping cart – which orders have been fulfilled, pending, unfulfilled.
  8. INVENTORY MANAGEMENT & POINT OF SALES INTEGRATION • Inventory management:

    • New products can be added by supermarket staff (we provide editor access to website & training on how to do this), or we can do this for you for a service fee. • Point of sales integration: • Online POS updates inventory listing. • Stock quantities and pricing to update automatically via this integration for online sales. • In future – will integrate with existing POS so that there is integration of online inventory and in-store inventory.
  9. SALES & DEMAND / TREND MONITORING • Use data collected

through our systems to map trends in consumer purchasing behavior across different timeframes (eg. YTD, MTD, custom timeframe). • Eg. Which products are selling out, and around which times of the year are they more popular? • Allows improved inventory and stock mgmt. – ensure stores are supplied with more of these items ahead of increase in demand. • Able to adjust pricing/discounts by monitoring and understanding trends.
  10. PAYMENTS INTERFACE • Customers can pay online, rather than having

to go in-store to pay over the counter. Why? • Online order fulfilment / point of sale /payments interface tracks through to inventory management. • Online payments accepted via credit card. • In future, will include e-wallet (eg. Touch n Go) integration. • Payments interface links directly to selected bank account for each supermarket / store. • We do not act as a payments intermediary.
