Presentation by John Peter Vinoth Kumar, Plenary Keynote Speaker @STC 2012.
Presentation Abstract
Business dynamics are rapidly changing and are getting increasingly complex. Client IT organisations are continuously working for better alignment to business imperatives that includes faster time to market, increased service levels, and predictable costs. Additionally, expectations from testing are also changing and the need is felt to position testing as an advisory service rather than limiting to traditional QA / QC functions. Traditionally, the value proposition of testing has been positioned in terms of cost reduction primarily. It is equally important for testing organisations to transform benefits measurement frameworks to incorporate values delivered to the upstream and downstream SDLC phases and to business.
