  1. MARCH 16, 2020 SDRAA MEMBERS IN ACTION NO. 1 SDRAA

Members in Action Needless to say the COVID-19 virus pandemic has disrupted our social fabric, making it necessary to find alternative ways to responsibly connect with each other and retain as much normalcy as possible. To that end, the SDRAA Core Committee thought we could make a small contribution to that end by creating a “Members in Action” newsletter. Our simple initiative is to provide an “Old School” platform for members to contribute photos and !1 Visiting the Logo site. 2. MARCH 16, 2020 SDRAA MEMBERS IN ACTION NO. 1 narrative

snippets of their rock art interests and endeavors. We are particularly interested in photos, past or recent, of our members “in action” during their adventures in different settings locally and around the world. The SDRAA CC have offered up a few of their personal photos to serve as an example of what we envision as a fun way of sharing. Kind of like “Show & Tell,” but without the burden of presenting in person. Lighthearted or serious, we’d love to hear from you and hope that this presentation will give you a sense of what we are requesting. So please, take a few moments to join in the fun and share with us a photo or two of you enjoying our shared interest — rock art. Now, we need your participation Please send your photos and accompanying information to SDRAA Program Coordinator, Steve Freers, [email protected] Remember to put “SDRAA Member in Action [your name]” in the subject bar of your e-mail (that helps him a lot). Thank you. !2 Other things we noticed along on the rock art trail Top: A beautiful hawk stands vigilant for prey atop an old ranch fence post at the crack of dawn.
