  1. Bolshoy Zarubino Port Agreement Inked Summa Group and the Federal

    State Unitary Enterprise (FSUE) Rosmorport have signed a contract on cooperation in implementation of the investment project on construction of transshipment facilities in Zarubino seaport. The Bolshoy Zarubino Project will be constructed in Primorsky Krai, which is owned by Summa Group. Located 18km from the Russian border with China. The port’s turnover will amount to 60 million tons per year. And will be used for the transportation of grain, containers, Ro-Ro units, bulk cargo and other goods. Summa Group undertakes the construction of the terminals while Rosmorport is to invest into related infrastructure, especially in hydraulic structures. Summa News – July 2014
  2. Global Business Plaza 2014 Ministry for the Development of the

    Russian Far East and Summa Group took part in the investment forum Global Business Plaza 2014. An annual forum that provides global business leaders with opportunities to find partners among South Korean companies. Over 450 companies from 63 countries took part in the forum. Summa News – July 2014 The Summa Group presented two projects: 1. Bolshoy Zarubino Port construction with turnover capacity of 60 million tons per year. 2. Coal handling terminal sever with capacity of 20 million tons per year in Nakhodka (Vostochny Port). Both projects are implemented as private-public partnerships. Negotiations with 19 Korean companies that are potentially interested in collaborations in terms of project financing and equipment supply during the construction process.
  3. Joint Business Venture with French Holding Veolia Summa Group President

    Alexander Vinokurov and CEO of the French diversified holding company Veolia Environnement, Antoine Frerot, have signed an agreement to develop a joint business venture in Russia. The companies are planning projects in water supply and wastewater collection, waste management and recycling, as well as in the energy sector. While carrying out joint projects with Summa Group, Veolia Environnement will apply its technological know-how and innovative solutions to the construction and operation of water and wastewater management systems. Veolia intends to provide technology and equipment for the removal and utilization of trash, including sorting stations, while implementing internationally recognized best practices for dealing with waste.
