2. The Goodwill Company aims to make a profit by selling customized clothing hangers in clothing retail stores. The profit they earn by the sales is directly donated to charity. The only costs the company faces is purchase expenses of the clothing hangers and costs for the material that the artists need to design the clothing hangers. The purpose is to integrate a donating system into the daily/monthly activities of the customer. The main goal is to realize profit. Is The Goodwill Company practicing Social entrepreneurship?
3. Recommendr uses fixed prices on vacancy contracts with companies, which enables them to support candidates in a non-biased way, instead of supporting a candidate to go to the highest-paying company. All profits are reinvested into the company, which increases volume, and so the company can subsequently offer the free service to more students. Is Recommendr practicing Social Entrepreneurship?
