  2. WHAT  IS  THE  TEXAS  ADMINISTRATIVE  CODE  (TAC)?   •  A

     compilation  of  all  state  agency  rules   •  There  are  16  titles  in  the  TAC,  each  representing  a  subject  category  relating  to  state   agency  functions.     •  Ex.  CSEC  –  9-­‐1-­‐1  Service  Standards;  HHSC  -­‐  Coordinated  Planning  and  Delivery  of  Health   and  Human  Services;  TCEQ  -­‐  Control  of  Air  Pollution     •  Interpretation  of  rules  must  be  directed  to  the  agency  that  set  the  rule(s)   •  Compiled  and  available  through  the  Texas  Secretary  of  State  OfMice     http://texreg.sos.state.tx.us/public/readtac$ext.viewtac

     Disclaimer   Any  map  product,  in  paper  or  electronic  format,  produced  using  geographic  information  system   technology  and  intended  for  ofMicial  use  and/or  distribution  outside  the  agency,  shall  include  a     disclaimer  statement  advising  against  inappropriate  use.  If  the  nature  of  the  map  product  is  such   that  a  user  could  incorrectly  consider  it  to  be  a  survey  product,  the  disclaimer  shall  clearly  state   that  the  map  is  not  a  survey  product.
