Business of apps: where's mobile world going

Mobile apps have long been and continue to be a hot topic of modern IT. They made an evolutional leap from straightforward implementations of conventional functions to carefully designed systems, which provide its utilities when and where we need them. In accord with that business models for app developers continue to evolve. Monetization strategies now range from statistically calculated in-app purchases in AAA games to voluntary patronage in smaller specialized apps. We will contemplate on where this can take us and where the money hide on high-tech’s curvy road into the future.
