R,UI ASS0C|An0N 0F PRIVATE UiIIVEBSITIES OTJAPAN SINCE 1946 MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN Darma Persada University AND Association of Private Universities of Japan Darma Persada University, Indonesia and Association of Private Universities of Japan agree on the following program in order to foster the exchange and cooperation in higher education, research and other related fields. 1. The two parties will work towards carrying out activities to foster young students in both countries. 2. Based on the principles of respect for each other's independence and of mutual benefit, the two parties will work towards carrying out the following activities: (l) Exchange of scientific materials, publications and information (2) Joint conference and research meetings (3) Activities in areas of mutual interest 3. This memorandum of understanding is valid for a period of 4 (four) years from the date of signing. In the event of the need to extend this agreement, one party must inform the other in writing at least 3(three) months prior to termination. 4. Revisions to this agreement may be made upon the mutual consent of the two parties. 5. Each party will keep a copy of this agreement, both in English and in Japanese.
