Fountainbridge Edinburgh

At Fountainbridge, located on the southwest side of the Edinburgh City Centre, the canalside is a hive of activity. Over the next five years the locale will change considerably, enhancing the attractiveness of the area and creating a draw for residents, visitors and business.

Fountainbridge is an area of focus for the City of Edinburgh Council through the Union Canal Strategy and its Edinburgh 12 initiative. These strategies highlight the importance of Fountainbridge in the development and regeneration of Scotland’s Capital. One of the largest brownfield sites in Edinburgh City Centre, the area has a unique appeal thanks to its proximity to the Union Canal.
