Data Science and Business Intelligence: The Singularity

While many companies are rushing to establish Data Science departments, they often invest much while achieving little. This often results in a larger focus on traditional Business Intelligence activities in order to support the Data Science goals. We will discuss the convergence of Data Science and Business Intelligence, the current effects of this convergence, and what the future might hold for companies wanting to grow their Data Science capabilities.
