Japan’s market is passionate about vintage/old-fashion/authentic things. Vinyl records are among those. It led legendary bands to release special editions of their albums in Japan: from different designs to extra tracks (emphasizing the premium effect).
A few years ago, we performed local business operations, support, and translations on behalf of Discogs.
We suggested to them to think big about Japan.
So we pitched them a plan.
