  1. What is water week? - Water Week is a week

(during science week) where all the elementary school kids learn something about water with their class. - Kids become more aware of their environment when they are exposed to water week - Classes will make posters, learn about water history, water rights, and most importantly, saving water WATER IS PRECIOUS Water week is created by Marlo and Claudia.
  2. Nestle has been stealing water from CA for over 25

years! Yes, this giant food/water company has been stealing are most prized possession, water. WE NEED THE WATER! Yet the firm's permit to operate this seven-mile pipeline in the mountains expired in 1988, though since it pays its yearly $524, the licence is still considered valid by the US Forest Service and by Nestle.
  3. Here are the most important things we need water for:

Crops to eat! Are lakes, reservoirs, and other bodies of water for our drinking supply.
  4. But there is no drought in the Bay Area, so

do we still need to save water? We still need to save water! Water is precious. This has been a very wet year but we do not know if the drought will come back anytime because of greenhouse gasses getting trapped in the atmosphere. Think about our summer this year. How hot will it get? Also there is global warming that heats up the earth. So sometimes we need to think about the future of water.
  5. Do not drink nestle! Boycott Nestle! To boycott means to

stop buying something. Have you ever heard of Cesar Chavez? He thought that people should stop buying grapes from the grape farms in California. This is an example of boycotting.
